A stunning new rooftop restaurant is now open at The Social Hub Barcelona, offering a unique blend of Mexican-American flavours, a curated cocktail program, and panoramic city views.
Barcelona, September 2025 – Perched above the vibrant Poblenou district—Barcelona’s emerging tech and creative hub— SíSí Rooftop is the city’s newest urban terrace and pool, opening on September 19th at The Social Hub hotel. It invites guests to escape the city’s bustle and embrace the free-spirited energy of summer… 365 days a year.
SíSí delivers a stylish rooftop experience, complete with a pool, bar, sunbeds, and panoramic city views that make it one of Barcelona’s most exciting new openings.
SíSí, which recently opened its first venue at The Social Hub Glasgow, embodies the spirit of the concept known as “Mexicana”, a cultural and gastronomic movement that reinterprets Mexico’s rich traditions through a contemporary lens, fusing authentic flavours with modern techniques and global influences from America.
At the heart of the new venue – open from midday until late evening – lies a culinary concept crafted by Adam Rawson: a product-led, hyper-seasonal offering that prioritizes flavour, locality, and sustainability. Dishes are created with local ingredients and responsibly sourced proteins, cooked over charcoal, and presented with character to highlight the quality of the ingredients. Highlights include: Aguachile stone bass with yellow chili tiger’s milk, & salsa bomba; Short Rib Birria served with adobo glaze, bone marrow, pickles, & corn tortillas; Seabass Asado roasted with chipotle and lime butter; the El Güero Burger with chipotle aioli, spinach, charred jalapeños, and Cabrales; and Wild Prawn Rice with cuttlefish.
For dessert, churros with coconut and dulce de leche, as well as a margarita sorbet with green apple and house tajín, make a striking entrance.
The experience is completed by an innovative cocktail offering created by renowned mixologist Marc Álvarez — also behind Barcelona’s Sips and co-owner of Pensión Mimosas and Fluid in Madrid — and with influences from Mexico, Peru and Asia. These include a Mexican Punch made with Otol, tequila, guava, vanilla, lime, and lacto-clarified for a smooth finish; the M&M – a bold mix of mezcal, Montenegro amaro, mole, and cacao; and the Ume – a refreshing blend of umeshu, vermouth, pomegranate, and oolong tea soda. The wine list complements the offer with a refined selection of wines, with an emphasis on natural, organic, sulphite-free, and biodynamic producers.
Divided into an indoor restaurant area and a spacious outdoor terrace, SíSí Rooftop will also feature weekly DJ sessions, curated events programming and sundowners. All of this is complemented with an open kitchen bar, an outdoor swimming pool, lush couches, sun loungers and a sweeping view over Barcelona.
